My Church holds a Anniversary Dinner every year. This year it was for couples who were married in years ending in 4 and 8. This made each couple married for a multiple of 5 years (5,10, 15, 20, 25, etc). The longest couple had been married for 65 years. I was fortunate enough to be there as the church photographer. It was so inspiring to see these married couples and how they interact with their spouses.

During the dinner each couple stood up and shared a short story from when they were dating or first married. These stories were hysterical. One gentleman stood up and said that he and his wife met in Marching Band for Michigan state. He liked the way her tush wiggled in her band uniform and knew immediately that he was going to marry her. Everyone was laughing and she was blushing. Another gentleman stood up and recanted their first date and how he forgot his wallet in his other trousers. Fortunately, his girl had some emergency money in her coin purse and she was able to pay for the cinema which cost 2 dollars. They were together for 55 years after that. Another couple told how the guy stood her up on the first date. Another bride told us how she didn't even like "him" when they first met and how she thought he was annoying. He kept pursuing her though, everyday telling her what "hot" legs she had.

It was so neat to hear these stories and be a part of this evening. I hope I captured some great moments, the first picture is my FAVORITE, they were such a sweet couple.

Our Sunday School Room!

This is the Sunday School room at our church! A church member painted all of these murals. They stretch from floor to ceiling on every wall of the room! It is breathtaking! All the walls are FLAT, It is all completely 3-D and the shadows are so extraordinary, it looks as if you could sit on the bench or touch the pots. One of the walls has a large cork board incorporated in it to hang the children's artwork! If you look closely you can see how the artist incorporated the light switches, the outlets, the fire alarms, and the door handles. The pictures hardly do it justice, it is so impressive.

Flash Anyone?

I borrowed a friend's Flash and I must say although it is tough to use, I think I may be in love! Grant is scared of it, but I managed to get this sweet photo of him leaning over the back the couch! Isn't he delicious? I just want to eat him up, he is so cute!

Here comes Thomas!

Two Christmas's ago, maybe three, I bought Carter this motorized train set. It was a great deal, 20 bucks regulary 100. I hid it in the garage and FORGOT about it! Well we found it in the move and Gabe set it up for the boys and it has occupied their every waking moment for the last week, 146 pieces of Thomas the Tank Engine Heaven!!! For the most part they have played really well together. You all know I can not keep clothes on my boys, I try but they just peel them off again. In 10-15 years they are really gonna wish they listened to their Mommy and put some pants on, because 90% of the pictures I have of these munchkins, they are in their underwear/diaper!

Who needs costumes!

When you have underwear! I could hear my boys giggling like hyenas when I decided to check and see what they were up too. Imagine my surprise when I saw them jumping off the couch, and my Carter with his Diego underwear on his head. Grant was squealing out "READY, ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!" Once Carter saw me he shouted out "Look Mommy, I'm a pirate and we're jumping off the boat!" Who knew that underwear on your head made you a "pirate"? Imagination Rocks!!!

My Little Dolittle!!!!

Can you see the butterfly?

All my kids take after my Mother in the respect that they are animal lovers! Grant loves the horses and they obviously love him. It's funny to me how none of my children have ever shown any fear toward animals or horses. I can only imagine how huge they most look to a 2 year old, but Grant just went right up to them for loves and kisses and showing off his cars! I love how Aspen seems to kiss his head!!

~FISH~

Carter loves to look at the fish!
