Meet Baby Chase!

I had my first photoshoot of a baby boy today! He is an angel! He is 16 days old today and he was just as sweet as could be. He didn't really like me much but he was super happy bundled up in his mama's arms with his pacifier. His Mama is a friend of mine from back in the day when we worked as waitresses at a local restaurant. We connected again through Myspace and since then I have seen her get engaged, married and have her first child all through her Myspace page. A few days ago I emailed her some pictures from my blog and asked her if I could come take some pictures of her new little man. I was so excited she said "YES". It gives me a chance to practice and it gives her free pictures of her baby! I think I got some beautiful shots. I really wish I had pictures like these with my kids. I really hope she likes them! My FAVORITE is the Tonka Truck picture!!! I can't even believe I took it, it was my first shot, and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to. After that, the baby wanted nothing to do with having his picture taken. I want to frame it and he's not even my baby...LOL

One of my favorite Pictures

A Happy Accident and Photoshop steps from Scrapperyapper4! I decided to try it on one of my favorite photos! I am very happy with the results! This is the boys right after their night time bath, they were brushing their teeth when they both turned around with those million dollar smiles and gleaming eyes for my MONEY shot! If they weren't nakey, this picture would be in a frame. But I think as they get older, they would not appreciate this shot as much as I do, especially if it was hanging on the wall.... LOL

These aren't the greatest pictures because my camera battery was dying and I had everything on the wrong setting! Oh well, I still love them and they capture the moment!

I know I should, but I just can't....

Bring myself to cut Grant's hair!!! I am just not ready to part with those luscious curls! They are just so yummy. I love to play with his hair when he cuddles in my lap! Everyone keeps hinting that it is time to cut his hair before he has some kind of gender identity crisis and thinks he is a girl.... Ugh, I am so dreading it! I know I will cry and cry!

Daddy's Home!

Gabe brought the kids some trinkets when he came home from Illinois on Sunday! He bought Gabrielle a beautiful necklace and for the boys he brought them a couple Pez dispensers and a couple SteakBurger hats.....LOL... our boys are easily amused as you can see. Gabe brought me a nice bottle of red wine that he got at a wine tasting with his family while he was there!

It always tastes better from Daddy's plate!

This is usually how Gabe and I end up eating our meals, with BOTH boys on our lap! Notice how Carter's plate is right there half eaten? They are both eating from Gabe's plate and he had the same exact food on his plate. For some reason it tastes better when it is on Mommy & Daddy's plate!!

Night Night Baby Grant!

Grant just started climbing out of his crib in the morning when he wakes up instead of waiting for me to come and get him! I know it won't be too much longer before he is out of his crib and in a big boy bed! It's so sad to think that my last baby is growing up and there will be no more cribs, no more strollers, no more baby stuff! He loves to get into his crib and love on his giraffe pillow! He lays right down and closes his eyes and pretends to sleep. I love the smile on his face! I played a little with this one and made it look a little retro! I love how light and creamy his skin is with his dark eyes!! **SWOON** My handsome baby!!! Reminds me of some of those early photos I have been looking at of my Grandma when she was a baby in 1927!

My Handsome Nephew

Okay so I am behind in some of my post processing! I forgot all about these zoo pictures that I took back in March when I went with my Sister-in-law to the zoo. We took along Grant and my handsome nephew! I got some great pictures of them feeding the giraffes! The tiger was magnificent and was super close! I have never seen one that close to the fence before and let's just say it was pretty intimidating and a bit scary! I could have reached out and touched him had I been so inclined, I wasn't of course. He was only about 5 feet away from the rail where I was standing to the OPEN fence where he was. He was a lot more fierce siting there then when he is usually on the other end of the enclosure. He Yawned at one point to show of his "ginormous" teeth and of course I was fiddling with Grant's stroller and I missed it...... ahh well, I still got a few nice shots!

So since we did not interesting today, all you get is old pics from last March... LOL!
