Sneak Peak!

I took the kids to the Halloween Superstore today and bought their costumes! They all picked their own costume! My intention was for us all to be SuperHeroes since last Halloween. Carter did not want to be Batman though, he said he was too scary. He saw the Robin costume and that was it... he wanted to be Robin! He loves his costume! It was lucky because there was only one costume in his size and only ONE batman in Grant's size! Ironically it fits their personalities to a Tee. Grant is the Bully, the leader and Carter is the more reserved Robin. Gabrielle chose Wonder Woman! Her costume is really cool! I wan't able to get very many good pics but I promise there will be more to come!!!

Awwww.........
This is how my boys fell asleep tonight! They crawled up into my bed before I could even get them into their pajamas! Aren't they just sweet as can be, they love each other so much! I love that!!!

It's here!
My favorite time of year! Fall! No matter what is going on in my life right now, the thought of fall and the holidays approaching still puts those exciting flutters in my stomach. The smell of the Perfect Pumpkin oil burning is permeating throughout my home and it makes me smile! I left my house for school this morning and there was a teeny tiny hint of fall in the air, after all it is Arizona. It was just the slightest cool breeze that moved across me but every year it gets me giddy when I feel it for the first time. I love fall because it is the beginning of a brand new string of seasons and holidays! Those sweltering hot summer days are dwindling and it's time to start thinking about unpacking the sweaters and cozy blankets. Today, the kids and I dragged out all the fall and Halloween decorations: skeletons and pumpkins, scarecrows and spiders. We had such a great time together. Carter was quite frightened by some of the decorations while Grant was entranced by them. He found great joy in tormenting Carter using the laughing skeleton with glowing eyes! Carter much prefered the, less scary, Winnie the Pooh Pumpkin. It was quite the sight seeeing my two year old chase my almost 5 year old through the house with a skull head. The more Carter cried, the more Grant laughed his adorable evil laugh!
All of these pictures are terrible, I didn't have time to change the settings before I started snapping, so they are blurry, but I LOVE the look on my boy's faces!

Look at the look on their faces, particularly Carter's! Grant had turned on the switch and the skull started moving and lighting up, Carter is obviously freaked and Grant is like "oohhh cool!"

Even More Bear Creek Photos!
We just had so much fun at the creek! I snapped so many awesome photos and they have been so much fun to edit! I think these are the last of them.... I know there are a ton, but I love them all so much!
Carter Was dumping water on his head to make Grant laugh! Grant thought it was hysterical!! He was really belly laughing as Carter did it over and over again!

Sound Asleep!
Carter is sound asleep in these pictures!!! He amazes me at the positions in which he can fall asleep. One minute he is playing with his Batman toy and the next his OUT!!!

A Story in Pictures!
Okay, so none of these pictures are technically good! BUT, they tell a short story! My boys went outside to play and somewhere between the door and the playhouse, they found the hose! Carter stripped down to his undies and Grant appears to have tried to strip too. He was obviously unsuccessful. They washed their dump truck and each other before it turned ugly. Neither of them knew I was watching, let alone snapping pictures. I knew it was coming and it did, Carter sprayed Grant straight on in the face. Grant was none too happy and he doesn't forget easily. They both spoted me, Carter walked off to play in his sand boat but he left behind his watery weapon, the hose. Grant played for a little while spraying down his truck when he spotted Carter playing over yonder. Grant manuevered over the rocks and approached Carter with his loaded hose! Unfortunately, Mommy had foiled his plans and had already turned off the water. His surprise attack was futile! All there was left to do was play in the sand together!!! I'll get you Mommy!!!!! Look at that face, thank goodness the water was off or I would have been soaked! My little Monster!!!
They are playing and have no idea I am watching!
